TEMPERED GLASS

What Is Tempered Glass?

Tempered glass is manufactured through a process of heating flat glass at less 600 - 700 degree Celcius to approach its softening temperature and suddenly chilling it with jets of cold air both sides with the same pressure. This process formed the tempered glass being 5x stronger than normal glass in same thickness.

Advantages

Tempered glass used to call as safety glass since it will usually shafter into small fragments, rather than sharp shards, when broken, it would not be dangerous for human.
